What We Do
StatementUp is a bookkeeping productivity tool for small business owners. You upload a bank statement PDF, our AI classifies every transaction by Chart of Accounts, and you get a complete Profit & Loss report. No accounting degree, no QuickBooks setup, no manual data entry.
Why We Built This
The trigger was watching a freelance bookkeeper spend hours every month manually entering PDF bank statement data into spreadsheets for each of her clients.
The pattern across small business owners:
- Some pay a bookkeeper $200-500/month for transaction categorization
- Some try QuickBooks but stall at setup
- Some keep receipts in a folder until tax season
We built StatementUp for owners who need monthly financial visibility without hiring help or learning accounting software.
